When we decided to bring a dog into our lives, we knew we wanted to make a difference by giving a rescue dog a loving home. That’s when we found Kada, a Shiba Inu who had been through a lot at just 11 months old. She was skittish, afraid, and in desperate need of care and affection.
From the moment Kada came into our lives, we could see her start to change. Although she was timid and unsure at first, she soon blossomed into a cherished member of our family. For over 11 wonderful years, we watched her grow into a joyful, loving companion. She thrived on our early morning walks, the gentle grooming sessions, and the playful interactions with everyone in the household.
Sadly, we had to say goodbye to Kada a couple of years ago. Her absence is still felt deeply, but the memories of her love and the joy she brought into our lives remain with us. Adopting Kada was one of the best decisions we ever made. The bond we formed with her and the happiness she brought into our lives proved that giving a rescue dog a second chance is incredibly rewarding. If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t hesitate for a moment. Adopting a rescue dog is truly a special experience.
